Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fidabl, the operator of Vennbi, collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. Fidabl is an independent studio based in Seoul, Republic of Korea (business registration number 407-74-00575). Vennbi is a global service, so this policy is written with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws in mind. For the purposes of the GDPR, Fidabl is the data controller.

1. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account information, such as your name, work email, company name, role, and password.
  • Business verification documents, such as your business registration certificate or certificate of incorporation, company name, and country.
  • Usage data, such as pages viewed, listings created, messages sent, device and browser type, and IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising identifiers.
  • Advertising data from the Meta Pixel and similar tools, which help us measure and improve our advertising.

2. Why we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the service, including your account.
  • Verify that businesses on Vennbi are legitimate.
  • Match businesses and surface relevant collaboration opportunities.
  • Keep the platform secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Communicate with you about the service and, where permitted, send marketing.
  • Measure and improve our marketing, including ads shown on Meta platforms.

3. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the service you sign up for, including verification and account management.
  • Legitimate interest: to secure the platform, prevent abuse, understand how the service is used, and grow our business responsibly.
  • Consent: for optional cookies, advertising measurement, and certain marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose data to comply with the law.

4. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that help us run Vennbi, such as hosting and cloud infrastructure, our payment processor, and email and communication tools. These providers act on our instructions.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta, for ad measurement, subject to your cookie choices.
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not disclose your verification documents to other members.

5. International data transfers

Vennbi is operated from the Republic of Korea and uses service providers in several countries. This means your data may be processed outside your own country, including in Korea and the United States. When we transfer personal data across borders, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to providers in countries recognised as offering adequate protection, so that your data continues to be protected.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described here. In particular, business verification documents are retained only as long as needed to verify your business and to meet legal and compliance obligations, after which they are securely deleted. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Usage and log data are kept for a limited time for security and analytics.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@fidabl.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the service, remember your preferences, understand usage, and measure advertising. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our ads and to reach relevant businesses. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings and our cookie controls, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through Meta's ad settings and industry opt-out tools.

9. Children

Vennbi is a business service intended only for people aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted handling of verification documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

11. Contact and complaints

For any privacy question or request, contact hello@fidabl.com. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with a data protection authority, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
